Boarding Pass – Grand Soleil 43

Recently referred to as the Porsche of the boating world the Grand Soleil is impressive by both specification and definitely by design. For over 40 years Cantiere del Pardo has been one of the most prestigious and highly regarded brands producing stylish, high performance, quality and comfortable sailing yachts. They are considered to be the epitome of ‘made in Italy’ design, performance and style.

Since 1973 Cantiere del Pardo has built over 4000 boats and it boasts detailed millwork, cutting edge technology and process; carpentry, based on tradition and the manual skills of its workforce; and assembly, where everything is put together carefully up to final testing.  The hull is constructed of a sandwich with biaxial and unidirectional fiberglass impregnated with Epoxy- vinylester resin, strengthened by composite frame of carbon and GRP structure, optimizing rigidity and strength while keeping weight down. Internally she is well designed with innovative solutions being studied and materials are put through severe resistance tests.

Built in 2004 Boarding Pass has a traditional layout for this size of boat eight berths in three double cabins plus the main saloon. She has luxurious accommodation and due to the hull and deck construction she is a joy to sail for both pottering around marinas and offshore sailing.

Boarding Pass really does have the best of both worlds, think elegance meets practical sailing; Italian design with great lines and internal fittings coupled with closed-cell foam core hull above the water line creating an extremely stiff hull with an ultra-low centre of gravity for unrivalled windward performance and overall speed, a generous sail plan, with all running rigging led aft to the cockpit making short handed sailing easier.

The interior of the yacht has an air of quality: an ensuite fore cabin, spacious saloon and galley which is situated to port, and then aft to where the two double cabins are situated.

We are delighted to be advertising Boarding Pass for Charter and we are sure that you would be delighted to be visiting the West Coast of Scotland in a little piece of Italy!
