Ever dreamt of sailing across the Drake Passage to Antarctica? This video shows you what it looked like onboard our flagship, Global Surveyor in January 2022.
Our unforgettable Antarctica expeditions start in Ushuaia, the capital of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. The 21-day adventure starts with crossing the Drake Passage to the South Shetland Islands where we visit Nelson Island, King George Island, Half Moon Island and Deception Island. From there we continue down south towards the West Antarctic Peninsula to see Enterprise Island, Paradise Bay and Port Lockroy to send our postcards. Our last stop is by Melchior Island and from there, we voyage back across the Drake Passage. We pass Cape Horn, where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans meet at the southernmost headland of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, before returning to Ushuaia.
We have planned this ultimate offshore sailing adventure again for the 2024/2025 season. For more please check our Sailing Adventures page.
